1960s
(?) Fi-Sonic Fuzz Blender - Surely this could make rocking
horse droppings seem common! From Phil Dreoni's Marrickville (Sydney)
workshops back in the '60s or '70s is this hand-made Germanium transistor
fuzz box. I bought it purely as a curio, and don't really want to sell
it, but you're very welcome to have a look. - not for sale
(click
on pics for full-size images) Fender USA original Telecaster
bridge pickup. Early '50s style level poles and cloth leads
make me think this must be from a '52 re-issue. Either that or they're
incredibly well-preserved '50s originals worth thousands! These are
fantastic pickups, with the original high-output vintage sound, due
largely to the chunky copper-coated baseplate which focusses the magnetic
fields and therefore the tone. Original fly leads a little short, but
will reach. Great tone and all-original. $125AUD (plus
shipping)

"F" tuners with all hardware - I have two sets of
these original Schaller-made Strat/Tele tuners dating from the late
1970s. All original, with W. Germany stamp and original diecast metal
bushings and screws - $275AUD/set (plus shipping)
1950s
Framus 'Black Rose' - probably the sexiest f-hole design
ever! Very beautiful archtop probably dating from the very early 1950s
from the German Framus company. Comes with OHSC - in
August to Gary in Qld
1957
Maton F240 Supreme - a nice early non-cutaway Supreme,
in totally original condition. These were a popular model for Maton,
and for good reason! Comes with OHSC - in
August to Gary in Qld
1958
Levin 335 archtop with added pickup - my very first archtop,
purchased 2nd-hand nearly 30 years ago, was a Levin 335 exactly like
this one. But it was in much worse shape than this 1958-made gem! Has
had a quality PAF-style humbucker professionally fitted at some stage,
making it an ideal jazzbox! Solid, hand-carved Spruce top, Maple back
and sides, Mahogany/Ebony neck, and a gorgeous Rosewood fretboard make
this a grouse vintage jazzbox at a bargain price. Comes with OHSC -
in
August to George in NSW
1964
Moody BA40 guitar and bass amp head - I have always thought
these to be about the coolest amps ever made, and this is the most original
and mint example I have yet come across - in
August to Tony in Brisbane
1966
Fender Jazz Bass - if you are looking for a genuine, collector-grade
1960s vintage Fender Jazz Bass, move quickly on this one, as it is only
being offered for sale for a limited time before I withdraw it and add
it to my personal collection! Dead original in all respects, and comes
with OHSC - in
September to Billy in Victoria
1997
Gibson L-4 CES carved top archtop electric - Made in the
USA in 1997 is this beautiful high-end version of the ES-175, with solid
carved Spruce top and Maple back and sides, bound Ebony fretboard and
gold-plated hardware. Stunning in Wine Red. Comes with OHSC - in
August to Ian in Sydney
