This is without a doubt the best Korina Flying V copy I have ever come across. This is not the much more freely available bolt-on neck version made by Tokai, but one of only a handful of accurate copies made. In looks, feel (super lightweight and resonant Korina - African Limba wood - at just under 3 kilos in weight!!) and sound, this Korean Tokai rivals any Gibson. Absolutely stunning. Not only is this Tokai copy a rare item, but it is a reproduction of the rarest of the Gibson "V"s - the black-pickguard and jack ring '58 (most were white). All details of the body (round-shouldered, not square like later models), through-body stringing, V-shaped string anchor plate, gold-plated hardware, natural finish, inline control knobs, plastic tulip Klusons etc etc are faithfully reproduced. A very rare opportunity for the astute collector or guitarist. Brand new condition, with the protective plastic still on the pickguard and jack ring (that can be seen on the photographs - see the 'more pictures' link below, and don't mistake the protective plastic for faults or marks!), and still in the original cardboard box.
