This bike had one German owner until end of 2006. He brought it with him as a private import when he came here to Australia in 1996. While still in Europe the bike was fitted with Lafranconi mufflers (upswept, like the original '78-'80 SP and Le Mans models) and the dealer retro-fitted Akront alloy rims and centres with stainless steel spokes.
The bike is registered as a 1985 model, but of course the SP-NT was only made between early 1980 and late 1983 (in 1985 the SPII was a completely different model). The frame number of the last SP-NT was VG25693, and this bike has frame number VG24102, placing it definitely in 1983.
Original faded and worn paint repainted to original colours and pattern in Jan 2007.

these bikes replace two former mechanical loves of my life, which were sold to put closure to a period in my life I'd rather forget. Let's just say that domestic violence is a horrible, damaging thing, and the victims are not always women, something that our society simply chooses to ignore. (click on the logos or the pics to view)
