Please note that Grouse Guitars has closed until mid to late January while I recover from surgery and related
treatment for bowel cancer.
I
thank the many, many customers who have sent messages of support.
It has been extremely humbling, and is deeply appreciated. I
am now home convalescing, and can report that the surgery was
100% successful, with the affected section of colon now completely
removed, and no sign of secondary cancers in lymph nodes or
liver. I will continue to do my utmost to ensure streamlined
delivery of instruments being paid off during this time, and
to reply to genuine enquiries, but please understand
there may be some unavoidable delays. And I take this opportunity
to wish you all a fulfilling, peaceful and healthy New Year!
Leo the resident
tone hound (he's a 5yo Beagalier)
welcomes you to Grouse Guitars, the 'virtual
vintage guitar store' where you navigate with vintage amp knobs
(use the site map if the knobs
aren't your thing). You will find Grouse Guitars
to be an ethical and user-friendly vintage and rare guitar,
bass and amplifier dealer - see our About
Us page. And yes, we can lay-by or
hold an item for you.
Grouse
Guitars has evolved from my 35 year passion in playing
and collecting great guitars, basses
and amplifiers, with a particular
fondness for vintage Australian amplifiers (Moody, Ultratone,
Goldentone, Vase, Eminar, Vadis and more) which have until recently
been under-recognised.
Other than
a very few items listed as not for sale, all my collection is
for private sale, so please enjoy browsing the site at leisure.
