Grouse Guitars has sent guitars, basses and amplifiers to all points of the globe.

We ship once a week. Generally speaking, any orders with payments cleared by Friday will have items picked up and packed on Monday, with a courier pickup (or Australia Post posting) on Tuesday.

We use only those carriers whom we find we can trust to deliver your guitar, bass or amplifier in a timely and caring fashion. Within Australia we use either Australia Post or Smart Send (who use the highly reliable and dependable Allied Express network for transport and delivery), with specialist company AirRoad Direct being utilised for heavier or larger items rejected by the others.

For overseas buyers we utilise either DHL (for items over 105cm in length) or ECI (for items 105cm or less in length).

Purchasers sometimes elect to organise and pay for shipping themselves, and Grouse Guitars is happy to work with buyers to ensure a smooth and safe transfer of goods.

You can either choose to pay for the item immediately to ensure that you have secured it, and pay shipping once the costings are known, or you can wait until you have received the shipping price from us and pay the total in one payment.

Buyers within Australia generally pay by direct deposit into a Commonwealth Bank account (details supplied at the time of payment). Overseas or Credit Card buyers can use our new PayPal account which will enable payment from almost anywhere in the world using either your PayPal account balance or your Credit Card. Those using Credit Card do not have to be an existing PayPal member.

It is important to understand that once the item is purchased, responsibility for the item shifts to the buyer. Shipping is paid for by the buyer (even if we absorb it in a specific deal), and responsibility for the item during shipping rests with the buyer. Grouse Guitars takes all care when packing items and selecting shippers, but does not accept responsibility for damage during transit. We highly recommend that insurance is also taken out during shipping, a very small cost to enjoy a lot of peace of mind!
