| Here's a lovely Fender Japan (MIJ) '62 re-Issue Precision Bass. This is a desirable Made In Japan, not a later Crafted in Japan, instrument, with serial no K026373. There is a 1991 neck stamp. This re-Issue P-bass is in excellent condition. Vintage frets are in good shape at around 70%. The nut is 42mm width, and the bass has an oval D profile Maple neck with a beautiful slab Rosewood fretboard just like the 1962 originals. Tuners are correct-pattern 1/2 inch vintage nickel-plated. The body is in very good shape, with just some very light polishing and general use marks that will polish out no problems if you so wanted. The previous owner fitted a new pearloid scratchplate, which really sets the bass off nicely! Playability is excellent, with no dead spots. Weight is nice, at 3.9kg (8.6lbs) This bass comes with a CNB gig bag, but a quality hard shell case can be supplied at cost if you prefer (around $120 for a CNB).
