Long-term visitors to the Grouse Guitars website will know that the Moody GA-40 is amongst my favourite amps of all time. They sound great, they look great, and they were made right here in Australia (Sydney) by a family business.

This example is without doubt the tidiest and most original I have ever come across. It's bloody amazing! It dates from late 1966.

Couple the grouse sound and grouse looks with grouse tremolo (the best-sounding type, where the output valve bias is modulated) and grouse built-in spring reverb (this one still has the very rare original spring unit), and you have one very grouse vintage amp!

Highly collectable, extremely usable, super cool. Original right down to its 'M' knobs (even on the rear-mounted reverb control) and pristine Sydney-made MSP Hi-Flux 12UA-15 alnico speakers!
